Symmetree is a community celebration of the fall equinox brought to you by ArcaTribe Edmonton.

Being a community driven gathering, we encourage you to participate!

The PODs are self determining working groups and YOU are encouraged and empowered to join a POD, roll up your sleeves and partake in one of the most satisfying experiences that a human being can have by contacting the person/people responsible for this pod (they are called bottom liners – BL’s).

1. Food:

2. Programming

BL – Terra, Jenika

this year all kids and adult activities/programming are merged! in a great choose your own adventure situation.

3. Marketing:

BL – Cristian, Fraser, Terra, (busybeesynergyATgmailDOTcom)
Responsible for getting the word out in a BIG WAY, with words, pictures, sound and fruit.

4. Welcoming:

[Shiny happy people holding hands, greeting you, receiving your generosity, sending you on your way, making sure you know what's up. This POD is mega fun; you essentially get to hug everyone at the gathering, even if you don't know them]

5. Leave No Trace:

BL – Renee, Lisa F
Roll up your sleves and delegate to everyone at the gathering because we’re all on this POD. Responsible for sanitation, hand-washing, grounds, recycling, clean up.

6. Deco:

BL – Renee
Responsible for: Decorations and making things super beautiful. You know who you are! Bring It, and be supported by hundreds of loving people.

7. Structure / Fire:

Build it up and burn it down. Responsible for building any temporary structures, putting up SteamPod, and building & caring for fires.

8. Signs:

Responsible for putting up signs to guide people in, and helping people find their way. This may include going to retrieve them from the ditch in the middle of the night – all in a days work.

9. Ceremony:

BL – Nathalie, Emilio Gagliardi (emilio.gagliardiATgmailDOTcom)
Responsible for ceremonies like welcoming circle, equinox circle, etc.. It has been proposed that the kids provide the content and structure for the ceremonies

10. First Aid and Vibe:

Vibe POD is responsible for the emotion, energetic and psychic wellbeing of all attendees at the gathering. This POD is usually quite big and is populated by loving and empathic people who will take on being total present for people, as needed.

We look for people with first aid certification or experience for First Aid POD. Shifts typically cover a span of hours and rotate. please make a note of that on your registration.
